About me
Some random facts about me

What do I do now

JavaScript became love of my life at the moment when my first more complex than alert(“hello world”) code worked. Each day I am trying to re-create my previous projects that weren’t as good as I remembered them with pinch of new features I learned since.

As a graphic designer I put much effort to make my projects have not only code-DRY and easy to maintain aspects but also decent design.

Lately I’ve been focusing on learn more about Object-Oriented JavaScript and my goal is to learn more about my current technology stack, but in the near future I want to improve my knowledge about React.js. I am also trying to make CSS methodologies like BEM< SMACSS and OOCSS my second nature when it comes to using CSS.

After that I want to focus mainly on automation process with Gulp, Mocha, Chai and Sinon.

I am currently looking for a job where I can boost my learning curve much faster so if you know a good place in Wroclaw, please drop me a line.

I would love to say something like “I made my first code when I was 5 and since than I felt in love with coding” but I can’t.

It all started in September 2008, when I’ve got my first, well paid freelance job. It was actually pretty hard but with great support I was able to complete project.

Back in those days I was obsessed with Photoshop so it was obvious that I will be interested in graphic and web design. After few years of learning Photoshop I understood that it’s not enough anymore and I gave a shot to Illustrator and InDesign.

As a freelancer I have over 9 years of experience under my belt. Through those years I worked for so many clients that I can’t recall most of them and that helped me a lot with my soft skills set.

Than it comes to HTML and CSS. Beginnings wasn’t as good as I expected so I’ve made a decision to stay with graphics and improve myself with it.

Second try came in late 2016. Firstly it was just copy-paste scripts and code fragments that were even working sometimes, than I understood that HTML isn’t hard at all and yeah, I guess that was the moment I realised I want to to dive into Front-End Developer path.

Countless hours later I started to learn CSS and JavaScript and after solid basics I started to learn jQuery and small JS libraries.

Since than I am writing something all the time and I am trying to learn something new every single day.
